Olomouc

This week was a blast! On Monday we had a sweet lesson with a super successful guy that is only 25 years old. He pretty much gave us a mini training on how to be successful and was still willing to read the Book of Mormon and continue meeting with us. We had a pretty packed week with lessons which was great.
On Friday all of the missionaries in the Czech Republic got to go to the Karlstejn castle where our mission was first dedicated in July 24, 1929. We woke up at 3 in the morning to travel to Prague but we ended up getting there way earlier than we thought we would so we stopped by the Svaty Vaclav Namesti and looked around for a little until all of the missionaries went to the castle together. It was an amazing experience to go up to the top of the mountain and remember what this mission really means for the people of the Czech Republic. It is especially cool to have a Czech mission president that has been through it all here and really knows how important our work is for the people here. They have been through so much but are definitely ready to hear our message. Also while we were in Prague these construction workers were arm wrestling and when we walked past they challenged me to an arm wrestle so of course I said yes but he was left handed and I got wrecked...
On Saturday we did service for some members here. We spent the whole day chopping and stacking wood but it was pretty fun. The members dad is this old guy that just chops wood in his boxers and nothing else! haha and he made this tractor to pull his trailer out of an old tiller and it is pretty sick, I got to ride it for a bit.
So it was a pretty good week. I hope you all have a great week!

Olomouc

So today is transfer day but everything is staying the same in Olomouc. We are the only district in our mission that is staying the same so I hope that is a good sign. This week our mission presidents officially switched so we went to Brno to meet the new president and his wife. They are Czech so the entire thing was is Czech and our trainings are now in Czech also. It was pretty cool to have everything in our mission language. We had a great week here in Olomouc and were able to find a lot of really cool people. I had an exchange with Elder Page it was a lot of fun. Exchanges are always a great opportunity to learn more from other missionaries. Vlastik got married on Saturday so they invited us to a bbq with all of the YSA. We also got to visit the Musialovi that live way far away and their daughter gave me a bowl full of jelly beans but turns out it was the kind that has two that look the same but one tastes good and one tastes like barf. I bet you can guess which one I ate...haha

It was really cool to teach them because their son has been struggling with anti material from his dad but we have been working with him and he has been coming to church and passing the sacrament. It has been a great week and I am excited to stay here in Olomouce for at least another two months! I hope you all have a great week!
