These last two weeks have been way fun here. We went to Catholic Mass and I got a sick pic with the head priest cause we have been meeting with him and he is reading the Book of Mormon. Then we went to Hukvaldy with a member and investigator. On Monday we transferred and since I am training I got to go to Prague and have my pday there so Elder Hudson and I spent the whole day in Prague and it got trdelniks and what not. I got my greenie and he is really cool. He is a super nice guy and works hard so we are having fun. We got invited to the University to do a presentation for an hour and a half so we went and it turned out way good. The students and teachers were asking way hard questions but Elder Cardon and I wrecked them with the Spirit! haha Then on Saturday we were waiting for a train but I needed to pee so I crossed the train tracks and went pee then all of the sudden the cops show up and gave me a ticket for crossing the tracks. They were going to make me and Elder Andrus pay 500kc but I made a deal with them and only I had to pay 200kc. haha crazy right!? Then Yesterday we visited an investigator in prison. He got arrested because they think he is here illegally but he has a visa they just wouldn't let him go back to Jicin to get it so finally his friend sent it in the mail to the police but they still havent let him out. We had to walk for a good 30 minutes to make it out there. So it's been pretty fun.
This week I've been studying about the Holy Ghost and I found a pretty cool quote that helps us understand what his role is. Have a great week!
One of the chief functions of the Holy Ghost is to bear witness of God the Father and Jesus Christ, his Son. The apostle Paul, in writing to the Corinthian saints, told them that “no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.” (1 Cor. 12:3.)

This week was one of the best weeks on my mission! Michal from Olomouc is moving to Sweden so for his last day he came to Ostrava on our pday. He is honestly my favorite person here. I am so sad that he is moving to Sweden for 2 years. Then the next day a senior couple came to check our apartments and they are also my favorite! Haha I have a lot of favorite people. Then we had training so we went to Hradec Kralove. On Sunday the crazy guy that fell in love with the sisters came again and got up during sacrament. The stake president was there though and he is one of the most spiritual men I have ever met. We got to teach a lesson with him after sacrament and it was the most powerful lesson I have ever taught. It was crazy. We had a few meetings with him and he was telling us how he got baptised during communism and all of the things he has been through. He is in charge of the entire Czech Republic and has to travel all over the country making sure everything is going well. He is a saint for sure. Also he is way loaded, he owns a Tesla and 1/3 of Prague! Today we have a lesson with the priest so I am excited to see what he has to say about the Book of Mormon. This week is the last week of the transfer so next Monday I will probably get moved to a different city. Moving here sucks so wish me luck! haha Well thats pretty much everything for this week!:)
“Behold, he who has repented of his sins, the same is forgiven, and I, the Lord, remember them no more." - The greatest thing we have is the opportunity to change and be forgiven. The Lord wants to forgive each and every one of us, we just have to act first.

This week was great! The family we are meeting with is doing really well. The mom accepted a baptismal date this week so we are pretty excited about that. It's just hard for her to travel every Sunday to the building because we have to take a train that takes 40 minutes to get there and she has 3 kids so it's pretty expensive. We are trying to see if there is a member that could give her a ride but they all have crapy Euro cars that have no room so we will see. This week we also set up a lesson with a young guy and when he showed up he had 3 friends with him and they were like we want to find faith in Jesus. So we were like well, you're in the right place. Running for buses and trains is basically our life here. I feel like 80 percent of our time is spent running for transportation. At least I'm not getting too fat though. haha We were teaching Filip about temples this week and it just reminded me of how blessed we are to have temples. Its rough that we have to go 2 years without the temple here because they don't have one but its cool that we could teach Filip about baptisms for the dead because his mom died when he was young and now he can go take her name to the temple. It was a good lesson. Today my favorite member is coming to visit us in Ostrava! It is his last day in the Czech Republic because he is moving to Sweden for work. I am way sad about that but I'm glad I get to see him today! Have a great week and remember God loves you!

This week was a pretty good one for us in Fydek! We have been teaching this mom with 3 little black kids and they came to church on Sunday! The ward was way happy to see a new family at church. We had Family Home Evening at the church building last week and we left to go catch our train but we were a little late so we started running to the train station and all of the sudden I see a man all alone on this dark street pushing his car. So I decided to run over and push his car for him then we really had to sprint to make it to the train station. I thought for sure that we missed it but some home it was still there when we got to the train station. So that was a blessing cause we would have gotten home way late if we missed it. We had an exchange so I got to serve with Elder Carlson for a whole day. It was way fun to be with him again, it's been almost a whole year since we served together. We were in this tunnel showing people the Because of Him film and one kid asked if people that have had a bad past can still be saved so of course we said yes and then had a lesson with him the next day. He doesn't have faith in Jesus Christ so it was really cool to be able to teach him about Jesus Christ and help him find that faith.
Have a great week!

Good week here in Fydek Mistek. This week we had a ping pong tournament as a ward so we went to the college and invited a bunch of students to come play with us. It turned out pretty good but a lot of students were going home for the weekend so they couldn't come. Turns out this guy from Spain won the whole tournament. Also this week Filip got the priesthood so that was awesome! I got an email about a less active we were working with in Olomouc and she now has a calling and is fully active so that was good news! We got a referral and went to contact it on Saturday. Turns out they lived an hour away in this tiny town so we had to take all of these buses and transfer a bunch of times so it took all day but we eventually got there and were able to give them a Book of Mormon and talk to them for a while about our church.
Unfortunately our investigators all had vacation this week so we weren't able to meet with a lot of them but this upcoming week should be good!

This week I had my 5th exchange with Elder Cardon. We have been around each other for a while now. It just so happened that we were matching that day and we went to an art gallery with the ward to support a member that was in charge of it. When we got there we saw two swords and asked if we could take a picture with them. As soon as we took a picture all of these people came up and asked if they could take our picture with the painting so we just sat up there for a while as people just took pictures of us.
We were at a store last week and found matching suits so Filip and I got em! They were only $10 so I'd say it was a pretty good deal. This week we traveled a lot but we still met with some 7th Day Adventists, JW's, and the Catholic Priest so things are going well. Have a great week.
