Hradec Kralove
Well the first of the transfer went pretty well. We have seen a lot of success so far. The other day we had a really funny lesson, we were teaching this guy and showed him the video "The Hope of Gods Light" and he actually started crying. It's pretty unusual for Czech men to cry. So it was pretty spiritual then in the middle of the lesson he pulls out a liter of milk and starts chugging it!! haha Elder Beazer and I almost lost it.
Faith in Jesus Christ is a gift from heaven that comes as we choose to believe and as we seek it and hold on to it. If we do not use the faith that God has given us, we can never build that faith.
Have a great week.

Hradec Kralove
So today is transfer day but I am staying in HK so I don't have to move and Elder Beazer is my new comp so he just has to move from his apartment to mine. Its been pretty nice. I am pumped to serve with him.
This last week was pretty good though. We were contacting people on the street and we stopped this lady to talk about Eternal Families and turns out she has been having a really hard time because her parents died not too long ago and she started crying on the street and thanking us for how much our message helped her that day. Also our investigator that is a professional soccer player came to our sports night on Saturday and played soccer with us. It was way fun, he worked me so hard. haha I thought I was pretty good at soccer until I played with him... lol
We also went to Karlstejn as a mission because that is where the Czech Republic was dedicated for missionary work. It was pretty cool to be there again plus I got to see all of the homies that I have served with in the past.
That is about all though.

Hradec Kralove
This week was another long hot week because all of our investigators dropped us so we were out on the streets for 9 hours straight everyday. It also rained a ton!! One day we were coming home and these drunk guys that we were JW's so they started yelling at us but I talked to them for a bit and and they end they were like oh wow mormons are pretty cool can we get a pic with you. So we got a pic and they sent it to us.
We had a pretty cool experience with a young guy, we were on a bus contacting and we talked to him for a while and he just kinda laughed and said no so we went to the next person. We had to transfer to a different bus in the middle of no where and the guy that we talked to was the only other guy there. We sat down on a bench by him. He looked up, then looked me in the eyes and said God doesn't exist. Nothing is up there. I looked back at him and said I know that God is there and that He loves you. The Spirit was so strong and he started asking questions. We taught him the Plan of Salvation and about prayer. It was pretty crazy to see the change of heart that he had.
Transfers are next week so I guess we will see what happens. Have a great week.

Hradec Kralove
So this week wasn't the best week for our investigators cause we were supposed to have 2 people get baptized this week but neither of them are going to make it and one of them is moving out of the country so we wont even see him again. Also because it is a college town and school is now over, everyone is going home and the streets are empty. Elder Beazer and I were on an exchange this week though and we went tracting, this guy came out and said sorry I have people visiting I can't talk right now. So we said we just have a short message about eternal families. He told us that his dad died the day before so we taught him about the plan of salvation and asked him to pray. It was really spiritual lesson and hopefully we will be able to visit after the funeral and everything. We gave up our dinner hour and have been waking up at 5:30 all week so that we can have more time to contact. We are really trying to find a family so we are doing everything we can. Other than that it has just been normal missionary work.
God bless America!

So things actually just keep getting crazier and crazier here on the mish... the lady that was supposed to be baptized last transfer but got possessed by a devil actually came to church early and gave my companion a bag full of tea and a letter in it and told him to read it when he is alone. So of course as soon as she left we opened it up and it basically said that if he doesn't leave his mission he will die and that he needs to pray in a different way and drink the tea to be healed. So yeah that happened. Also while tracting this week we rang this doorbell and this guy got really mad and told us to do some bad things to ourselves. lol so I said "We are sharing a message about families" Then he said it again so I said "Why?" he was like do you want me to go get a gun then he ran inside and came out with a machine gun!!! Elder Gubler ran but I just stood there and said what did we do wrong? Are you really going to shoot me when I haven't done anything wrong? He cocked the gun back and pointed it at me then he said if you ever come back I will shoot you, and don't ring my neighbors doorbell either. So I looked him in the eyes and said have a nice day then walked up to his neighbors door and rang the doorbell. haha he didn't shoot be though. I'll end with a good story thought don't worry! haha we do service at a catholic church every week and the priest left us alone for a while so we took some pics...
Oh also our ward mission leader gave me this sick birthday card.

Hradec Kralove
I don't have a lot of time but things are going well. The area here is turning around and we finally got some people to come to church so things are good. We have been meeting with a less active member and his friend that isn't a member. They are the coolest guys and they play pro soccer so we got permission to go to their game on Saturday and then on Sunday the less active came to church but his friend got injured in the game so he couldn't come. They lost pretty bad but Kingsley the member got 2 goals so that was pretty sick.
We also taught a lesson with the bishop here this week and it was a really cool lesson. We taught the word of wisdom and ya know basically just told him what it is and why we have it but then the bishop said "Not partaking of these substances is obvious, they harm our bodies. The real purpose behind the word of wisdom is keeping ourselves healthy so that we are able to serve others. If we are not healthy we need help and can not help others." I had never really thought of the word of wisdom in that way and it was really cool to think about it like that. The greatest joy comes from serving others so we must be physically able to serve others.
Have a great week.
